Anna Sergeyevna Kurnikova is a Russian television host and a an ex-professional tennis player. It was her popularity and looks that made her one the best-known tennis players in the world. Anna Kournikova (Russian) is a retired tennis player. She was, at the time of her death the biggest female athlete of the sport. Kournikova was a decently proficient singles player however she was an extremely popular doubles player. Her partnership together with Martina Hingis was widely praised for their effectiveness. She achieved worldwide popularity through her looks and modeling assignments which is still one of the most looked up athletes on the internet. Kournikova played the ball fast and was able to spin it on the singles court. She was a modern baseline player. She played with a lot of power and used long groundstrokes. Kournikova is a native of Moscow and both her parents were professional athletes. The father of her mother, Sergei Kournikov an Olympic wrestler while her mother Alla was a marathon runner. Kournikova began playing tennis when she was five. The year 1991 was when she moved to Florida to attend the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Kournikova's career as a tennis prodigy began at five years old. In 1991, at 10 years old she emigrated to Florida where she trained under Nick Bollettieri. Her celebrity status continues until she retires. In addition, she has appeared involved in Hollywood films. Kournikova's relationship with Enrique Iglesias began in 2001. They have two children together - twins who were born in December 2017. Anna Sergeyevna Kourinovova was born on 7 June 1981, Moscow, Russian SFSR Soviet Union. She was an active Russian professional tennis athlete. When she was 14, she was the youngest tennis player to be awarded the Fed Cup and compete in professional tennis. In her 15th year old this achiever reached the U.S Open and managed to reach the semifinals at Wimbledon. Her tennis career ended professionally at age 21 due to back problems.
