Amybeth McNulty (born in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish Canadian actress. She is known for her role in the lead role of Anne Shirley in the CBC/Netflix drama series Anne with an E, which is based on the book Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Amybeth McNulty, born 7 November 2001, is daughter of a Canadian father as well as an Irish mother. Amybeth was born on the 7th of November 2001 in Ireland. She will be twenty-one years old by 2023. She was born and raised in Donegal in Ireland. She is a dual citizen of Ireland and Canada. The blonde locks on her hair. Anne has also had a complicated relationship and a complicated relationship with Gilbert Blythe who was two years older than Anne however he was studying at the same level having had his schooling interrupted when his father became unwell. When they first met in school, Gilbert teased Anne by giving her the nickname Carrots. Amybeth McNulty's Anne is a 13-year young girl, who lived an abusive childhood growing up in orphanages, and houses of strangers. Anne is forced to live on Prince Edward Island with her aging siblings, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. The story ends in 1919 and Gilbert and Anne are happy. Gilbert is 55 years old, and still in love with Anne.
